Wow this thread is long! Someone should create a spreadsheet showing how many cysters have these other issues Apart from PCOS I have been diagnosed with:

ADHD (inattentive type)
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome due to having an extra pair of ribs (cervical ribs)
Environmental Allergies (trees, dust mites, cockroaches)
Food Allergies (yeast, shellfish, peaches, apples, bananas, zucchini)
Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP)

I also had to have my tonsils taken out, tubes in my ears and a growing birthmark removed as a kid. Oh and I had infant pneumonia. What's gonna go wrong next?

My family always thought that I was being dramatic/faking being "sick" or that I was a hypochondriac or that it was all in my head, so I started not talking about ALL the symptoms I REALLY had b/c they would just make a big deal about it and tell me "something's always wrong with you." Now I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one and that I'm not crazy. I've always been so embarrased about what's been wrong w/ me...

I have been diagnosed w/ (and taken medications for) Panic Disorder (depression/anxiety,) allergies/sinus issues, and GERD along with the recent diagnosis of PCOS. Although I've never been "medically diagnosed" with the following, they are still issues... TMJ, heart palpitations, just recently a little higher-than-normal blood pressure, back/hip problems, and chronic headaches. I also have almost every PCOS symptom, so I wonder how many of the things I go through are just actually related to the PCOS.

Right now as we speak, I am enjoying to wonderful pain and pressure of a sinus infection complicated by a beautiful asthma attack a day ago. All the medicines I was on didn't mix well and I had the best of the best upset GI issues and a whirl of a time with my stomach. So now, I can't breath, my head is killing me, my body hurts, I'm weak, tired and my stomach feel awful.

Ahhhh, the joys of having PCOS and a slew of non-ending health problems to ruin my life even more. Don't you just love it??

This is my first post, found this website from this link I think.

I have PCOS since 1989 (at about 15)
Also DX with :
Chronic Environmental Allergies - everything but roaches, mold and pine trees!
Fibromyalgia
Carpel Tunnel
(Those 3 were all in the same year!)
Roshcea - not sure of the spelling, REALLY bad dry skin on my face and had smelly wet rashes under my armpits when I was a teenager)
Gallstones

Other tests that were off were:
High C Reactive Protein (later was down)
High Triglycerides
High Platelet Count
Low MPV count
High EOS count - 6.8
WBC (not high but on high end (10) according to online lab averages)
High ketones - 15

I also self DX myself with:
IBS
TMJ

I'm suspecting Lyme or MS also, have a appointment with my Nuero (SP?) in October.
I have gotton the lyme panel before but I hear the one they do is only 36% accurate but the good one from Igenex is 96% accurate. I had a rash, DR looked at it said Lyme but tests were negative. I was sick in bed for a month but was also on the nicotine patch so not sure which one. I've started slurring my words and walking even more "off" then usual so now I am paranoid about MS too on top of all of this!

Hi Everyone, I see this survey was written years ago, but i think it is important to keep it going because doctors are only human and so they don't know everything. It is important that we try to help each other and try to find links to other illnesses we may have.
I have:
PCOS ( of course)
Hypothyroidism
TMJ
back aches
swelling of the legs, feet, hands, & face
stomach aches and pains all the time( no matter what i eat)
migraines ( a lot)( they are usually in the neck or eye area or both)
regular head aches everyday
forgetful all the time
Tired!!!!all the time
dry and cracked skin on fingers and heels of feet
weight gain
bladder infections all the time!
