I am 23, and here is my list:

*PCOS
*Chronic Obesity (5/2", 328 lbs)
*Insulin Resistant
*Hairs under my chin
*INFERTILITY
*Ovarian Cysts ("string of pearls", both ovaries)
*Heartburn (POOR FOOD CHOICES)
*Depression (age 10-22, NOW been treated)
*Frequent diarreah, EVEN before I was on Glucophage XR
*Lower leg and ankle swelling (WEIGHT)
*teeth grinding
*some Skin Tags
*Fatigue (sleep study: no apnea, but I wake up 6 times PER HOUR... DX, UNKNOWN)
*Menstruation, comes and goes and it feels like it!
*Bone spur in foot (WEIGHT)
*Headaches (just recently started)

And alot of my problems probably would not exist if it weren't for my weight, but because of the IR problem left un-treated for years, it was almost not really my fault, almost impossible to lose weight.

Really, I feel pretty good and have no real MAJOR medical problems.

I love the idea of this survey that was started, because it gives us all a more comforting feeling that OTHERS out there deal with so much of the same things we do. :0)

Oh my gosh, I'm not the only one!!

PCOD: hypothyroidism, insulin resistance/pre-diabetes, hirsutism, no periods, acne, weight gain, high triglycerides & high cholesterol
Depression (can't imagine why!! LOL)
Ventricular Bigeminy (my heart does the tango)
TMJ

Wow, I see lots of similarities here with others. Is there something to this, or is this normal in the population??

I also have arthritis in both my knees, a bladder infection, and a dislocated disk in my lower back, which is why I have to stay so active and not gain weight.

Well, I've got to say that I feel so much better now. At least I know i'm not dieing anymore..lol I swear I was suffering with so much I thought no way it could all be Pcos.

Anyway, when I was 17 I had gallstones, and had gallbladder surgery, i had a kidney infection, and a Large cycst they lanced while i was in surgery. Then i've always had a little weight problem. I suffer with what feels like arthitis. And especially at night it gets bad. My joints,in my arms, legs, knee caps are real bad, wrist. And sometimes I have alot of problems with my neck. I have asthma, allergies, depression, sometimes suvire cramping weither it's time for ovulation or menstral period time. i'm sure i left so many other things out....lol

OK...
Crazy mood/energy swings, low blood pressure, night-time teeth grinding, wierd itchy/splotchy hives (eyelids and bikini line) that come and go.

And here's a wierd one... low body temperature (I think). I have been tracking BBT while TTC. If/When I O, it may hit 98.0. Otherwise, I'm always between 96.5 and 97.5. Anyone else have this?

One more thought... I am 29. I was milk allergic as a baby (not now), so I was one of the first Soy formula babies... I was thinking my insulin resistance might have something to do with too much protein and not enough carbs as a baby vs. adult diet... Or maybe some biproduct of the soy...Any thoughts, ladies??
