Hi I just had to reply to this one I have been really interested in what exactly can be caused by PCOS. I have:
- hypothyroidism
- hyperprolactimia
- TMJ
- Bone Spur in my foot
- back and hip problems
- migraines (mainly hormonal)
- extremely near sighted
- chronic ear infections
- asthma

We do sound like hypochondriacs.

This is an excellent subject. However EVERYONE is right, we do sound like hypochondriacs!!! LOL!!! These are my problems and medications:
Endometriosis - Lap's and Lupron injections in the past, but no meds right now.
PCOS - all of the usual symptoms, overweight, hair problems, oily skin & hair, acne, anovulation, etc...
IBS - Bentyl
PMDD - Sarafem
Insulin problems - Avandia
Allergies - Allegra
Sinus infections - when I have it I take Amoxocillin and Duratuss
Oh yeah, and I'm going through Menopause right now at the age of 25. Waiting to see if the avandia makes me ovulate so that I can get Pregnant, if not then the RE will probably put me on High dose BCP's to reverse this. Because of the menopause, I also have sever back aches, neck aches, headaches, mood swings, short term memory loss...etc....!!! Wow!! Maybe I am going crazy!!! LOL!!! It sounds like alot, but I just try to keep my CHINS up!!!! LOL!!! Kidding!!

Question

Ok anyone notice a trend?!?!?

Joint/muscle problems........allergies.......TMJ...........IBS. .............teeth grinding?

Are we more open to these problems? Or, are these possibly related to PCOS? Ask your DR, but isn't it interesting.........

Here's my list:

PCOS
Depression
Numbness/tingling hands
Bruxism

I'm particularly interested in the bruxism. I have two daughters (6 and 8) and I fear one of them might already be showing signs of PCOS. She's moody, carb-addicted, chubby AND SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A TOOTH GRINDER. Her sister shows no symptoms and has never been a grinder. I love them both dearly. I wonder bruxism may be an early indicator for PCOS.

This is my first post... couldn't help myself. I think I am going to become quickly addicted to this site!

PCOS - Glucophage
Hypoglycemia - Food
Myasthenia Gravis - Mestinon
Geographic Tongue - No food
And too many hystamines (sp?) which causes my skin to puff up when scratched - don't know what they call that! - Benedryl

Thanks for helping me realize I'm not alone!
