I was just recently diagnosed with degenerative disc disease (DDD) in my lower back. After my back had gone out about 5 times in the last 3 yrs for no reason at all. Don't know if it's related or not. But I don't ever remember injuring my spine at any time!!

Heidi Diagnosed September 2005 Age 26 Initial Symptoms: Irregular cycles, hirutism, weight gain, depression, panic attacks. Meds: Glucophage 750mg x 3, b-complex w/ex folic acid Weight loss: 40lbs in first year Diet: Low carb/High Protein, whey protein shakes Since prego: prenatals with 1mg of folic acid, still continuing with high dose of glucophage, colace, 6 ultrasounds that look good so far.

I also haveegnerative disc disease with 2 herniated discs lwr back,IBS, TMJ, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, boils (Theres a name for them but dont know how to spell it!), IR, heart palplatations,plantar facititis, excessive hair growth, past depression, Hip pain/sciatica, acid reflux, minor anxiety, migraines, & pelvic pain which drs do not know what is causing it and I had asthma until i was 5 real bad it went away & I have brought it back on from smoking .
I think thats it!!! Gosh were all falling apart and to think before I had symptoms of PCOS I had no health problems!!!

Wow, i thought i was the sickly one.....here's what i got.
Seborrehic Dermatitis-Scaley sometimes w/pus filled patches on my head Extremely oily Skin Bad Acne w/ ingrowns everywhere Hirsutism Dark patches of dry skin in crevices Obesity especially aroung the middle IBS-not dx yet but I know I have it Depression Dysplasia HPV really sweaty Numbness in Hands/feet upset stomach brittle/thin nails dizziness/headaches Anemia and my personal favorite the 15+ day uuuber heavy periods. and thats when i do have a period.

I've got IBS, allergies, migraines, TMJ (severe teeth grinding too), carpal tunnel. I also have severe stretch marks- purple, tender, and BIG & they hurt at times.

I am not sure...did I get PCOS again? I had it 3 years ago..went to my doctor...took shots and then I had a regular period for a year..my last was in August...but I didn't get it in Sep. or Oct. my cysts were relatively small..I don't remember much cause I was ok for a year..what's bothering me is that my face is getting very dry..and I have some rash on it...any advice Cysters??
I have asthma, chronic autoimmune urticaria (basically I am allergic to protiens in my own plasma), severe acne, GERD, Vitamin B12 deficiency - severe, hirisutism, obesity, migraines, uneven breasts (ones a c the others a dd-ddd), ADD, chronic severe depression.
Here's my list:
-PCOS
-IR
-Severe Asthma (if i don't routinely take my Advair 250/50 I end up in the emergency room with in a week, sucks butt every time, of course can't afford the Advair so if dr. office runs out of samples I'm screwed)
-Seasonal allergies(oh i mean allergic to every season)
-Enviromental allergies(smoke, dust, molds, animal dander-but i still have 2 cats and work in a Veterinary hospital)
-Chronic sinus infection ( dx w/ this in 1990, thickening of the sinus cavity)
-Mood Swings ( i think goes along with the PCOS because of the hormone levels fluctuating)
-Obesity (go figure on that one, but I've gotten used to it been fat all my life, never had a skinny moment)
-Horrible astigmatisim (spelling) have worn glasses/contacts since the first grade
Thats all, I think, oh well, at least I'm still breathing...LOL

I have headaches, sinus problems, something like carpal tunnel (although not diagnosed), I have a very uneast stomach most of the time, also, i have irritable bowel frequently. Although some of these may be associated with the medication I take (glucophage and parlodel) I'm almost sure it has to do with PCOS in general. Most message boards i have read there are other people with these problems too...

When I was first diagnosed with PCOS, we were able to get my periods regulated again... then all of a sudden, nothing! I was really young thought i was cured, but evidently, no, I wasn't. I'm in my 6th year of PCOS
I have PCOS, Psoriasis ( just "love" that one) insulin resistance, that is about it for me. Of course there are the other little aches and pains mostly my back and neck but that is due to my work outs and my line of work. I am a massage therapist..go figure. But dang it , its hard work and I feel like an old lady some days. I need to GET a massage.
