I have not been officially dx with PCOS yet...still in the testing phase and show most of the symptoms....here goes the rest of it:
IBS
hypertension
osteoarthritis in hips and neck
flat feet
fatigue
migraines
chronic sinus problems...could be due to allergies
teeth grinding
depression
anxiety
achy/tingling in arms
tendonitis in shoulders
PMDD
x-linked hypophosphatemic rickets(Kind of a long explanation...I will explain if asked)
reactive hypoglycemia
tipped uterus
I know I am probably forgetting some...but that about covers it. LOL
I am so relieved to see that I am not alone in all my problems!! I am 29 and feel so old sometimes!! *HUGS* to all!!

Hey there cysters, what an excellent topic...my other health probs include Asthma and allergies BUT reading over these is really intresting and frustrating for me....i am a nursing student and a ton of everyone elses problems really make me think...this is what i am seeing.....
with some diseases...the body's response to the abnormalities is inflamation (asthma, allergies, IBS, all forms of arthritis with the exception of Rheumatoid arthritis, migraines) a connection? perhaps so! these are called autoimmune responses, the process of the body trying to fight something, and causing even more problems, hope this helps

Wow...there are a lot of common symptoms...it would be interesting if someone (maybe me) could find the time, once this topic reaches 100 cysters to add each symptom up to see what the percentages are...i.e. 75 out of 100 women with PCOS also have TMJ (this seems to be a popular one...I dunno if this is right I havent counted, but you get the drift )

Here are mine:

PCOS
TMJ
acid reflux/GERD
back pain
knee and ankle issues
insomnia
carpal tunnel
endometriosis
Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Some of these I have not been dx with, but they're there..LOL

I'm gonna consider adding 'em up...mrsmiaow you wanna help?

Well I think this is an excellent topic. I know one thing..after reading all your posts I certainly dont feel so alone now!

Heres my list:

PCOS- Male pattern baldness, Male-like hair growth, Either having the period from hell or not having one at all for months on end...finally got that straightened out with BCPs. Skin tags. Dark skin under arms, inner thighs, neck.

Boils- rarely since the BCPs

Tingling, Stinging, in extremities and on the top of my head.

A horrible back- there have been times I couldnt straighten up for a few days. My father and all three of my Aunts have had back surgery.

High Blood Pressure- Toprol and another one that I cant remember.

Depression- Have been on Celexa, Effexor. Currently on Wellbutrin.

Muscle Aches- I hurt all over. I wake up every morning hurting.

Dizziness on occasion.

Eye twitching.

Horrible near sightedness.

IBS- Havent been diagnosed but my doc says probably so.

Slightly high Triglycerides.

Well ill tell you what, im going to stop here, im getting depressed!! I just wish that doctors would take this whole thing a little more serious than they do. It seems like every doctor I go to refers to this "syndrome" as a fertility problem, I for one would like some of the other tons of things wrong with us all, addressed!!

My turn!

-PCOS of course and all the lovelies to go with it-including IR
-Depression (haha linni depressed?)
-Venous Angioma (that's a malformation on the right side of my brain)
-IBS- the doctors seem to disagree on this one
-rapid heartrate-normal sinus rythm though
-Constant headaches-doctors disagree on what's causing these too
-borderline high bloodpressure... this seems to have gotten better though with my weight loss
-oh also some sort of sinus problem that makes me more prone to get sinus infections.. funny thing is 2 weeks ago was the first time i ever had trouble with my sinuses.

that's all I can think of at the moment but that's plenty

-Oh yeah i forgot I've also been diagnosed with having IDIOT DOCTORS!

Luckily I've been diagnosed with every little...

Too much bronchitis as a child (likely allergy related - fall and spring).

Increasing allergies with age (and a move from the area in which I received allergy shots as a child).

... some heel pain occasionally (heel spurs?).

I guess I've been lucky (except for the PCOS - actually at my age I'm lucky to have finally gotten the diagnosis before any more potential harm can occur, I envy those who are finding out early in life!).

TxJessy - have you been tested for diabetes recently? Several of the symptoms you listed under "PCOS" are also highly indicative of diabetes.

The AMA has recently published their findings that PCOS and Diabetes Type 2 are related - I could have told them that 11 years ago
