I've had mildly-rising TSH since Fall. It was just discovered and my t4 dosage was upped. Question is, does being hypo make a person able to get sick more easily? I seem to be catching things left and right, mainly respiratory infections like colds and last month, bronchitis. I'm a teacher but I don't normally get sick this often. It's been occurring about every 3 weeks, give or take.

I've definitely noticed I'm more susceptible to bugs when I'm hypo, but I tend to catch intestinal issues more than respitory infections. I, too, work in the education field, but was a bit taken back when I realized it's been well over a year since I last had a cold. But seriously, someone in my vicinity can just THINK about puking from a stomach bug, and I'll be sick as a dog in an hour. :-)
