Default Sweating

I was wondering if anyone else sweats alot. I sweat all the time. My husband says that i keep the house cold enough to hang meat. He usually sits around sweat pants on & a blanket. Everyone in my family sweats very easily but i was wondering if mine could have something to do with pcos. Now i am very well aware that i live in the South ( Alabama ) and it gets hot here in the summer. But i can just think about going outside & start sweating...lol When i come inside from cutting grass, my cloths are totally soaked with sweat. Its so gross. Just curious if im alone in this or not...lol

Yuppers I have always been on this bandwagon TMI: Sweat stains to my boobs some days... BUT I have found something that has finally worked. I think my body just craps on any outside agents ie deoderant. I have been using that crystal thing where you wet it roll it on and your good to go. I was skeptical but If I don't use it bad news bears....Good luck You are not alone

I have the exact same problem. Where I live..there is this anti persperant called Certain Dri...I'm not sure if you have it where you are. Obviously that only stops the sweat coming from your under arms...but it's a start. It works for me..and pretty much everyone I told about it.

I think what bothers me the most about the sweating, is it starts pouring off my face. Which of course soaks my hair. And my face turns red. So its very noticable. I am shy anyway and when im out in public and start sweating, people look at me like im nuts...lol When im outside, the sweat runs down into my shirt and my bra is soaking no time. I use Degree deo and it works really well. Its nice to know that im not alone !!! Im looking forward to winter...lol

I sweat like a crazy banchy too. Most of my family does I think it is heritary. My brother has lost all his weight and was super thin, he thought he was sweeting because he was overweight, not the case he talked to a doctor and got a prescription for something to help him out. I keep meaning to mention it but I get so nervious at the docs I always forget.

Sincerely
Elaine

men generally sweat more anyway.......maybe the abnormal androgens produce this effect? I use perspirex, use it at night, 2 itmes a week, wash off in morning and your good to go. it actively decreases the amount you sweat. i use it in the crease under my too.

I sweat a TON. Not just my armpits but my hands and feet too. The doctor said that I have concentrated and overactive sweatglands (yay!) It gets worse when I am nervous or anxious. I know that you can get a perscription from you Dr. for the underarm sweat and if your a feet/hand sweater I've heard that soaking your feet/hands in warm tea helps tremendosly (sp?)

I am like Hope1142005, my whole head is sweaty with very little exertion. The sweat pours off my face and I turn beat red and my hair is soaking wet. It is sooooo embasessing. I look around and I seem to be the only one sweating. I have been staying indoors most of the summer because I am so embaressed about it.

Oh girls you are definetely not alone. I sweat all the time...I can be cold and still be sweating. I am not sure exactly what it is, but I think it might be the fluctuating hormones and the birth control pill. I am also on a heart medication for a fast heart rate. I just wanted to let you know that you girls are not alone and I sweat a lot too..... ::Hugs::

Cool Sweating

I too am a sweater . . .for me it is mostly the face, pits, and hands. I even work nights in a hospital where it is like 60 degrees at night. Doesnt help at all. I have taken to not even being able to spend much time outside till it has cooled for the day. I give !

I sweat like crazy from my scalp and face. I don't even have to be exerting myself either. And I can sweat when it's cool too.

All of the sudden, it will just start. I feel a tingling prickling sensation on my scalp and face and then sweat literally starts pouring out and rolling down my face and neck in rivulets. More often in hot weather, but even in very cold weather.

I have been told it is everything from obesity to diabetes to anxiety to PCOS. But no doctor has been able to tell me anything concrete. I just deal with it. Let people shoot me dirty looks. I carry absorbant cotton handkerchiefs in my purse to dab up the sweat with and I wear mineral makeup that doesn't cake up or run. It just dabs off with the sweat and I can re-apply once it stops. I also carry hair clips to get my hair up off of my neck so it can dry. I've been dealing with this for years. Ever since I started Glucophage/Metformin and Spironolactone. But the doctor says it's not a side effect of the medications.

Who knows, it's just something I deal with and put out of my mind and try not to let it bother me too much.

Tracy
