Default Sweaty armpits

Does anyone else have this icky problem? I've noticed since I was about 16 that my underarms have gotten gradually sweatier. I ALWAYS sweat there now and a lot of my shirts have been ruined from it. Deodorant/Antiperspirant does nothing for me...other than controlling the odor. At least that's good.

I want to save my shirts!

have you tried Certain Dri? It tends to stop sweating for everyone. (You use it at night, and can find it at most drugstores.)

Kat, thanks for the recommendation - I've never heard of it and have just gotten use to having wet pits. I'll give that a try.

It's been around forever...like decades.

It also works for sweaty palms.

I think there's a possibility that the higher levels of testosterone may cause us to sweat more than other women.

Probably....although I hardly ever sweat anywhere else unless I work out REALLY hard. It's just my underarms.

I second, third, fourth, etc Certain Dri. I suffered with perspiration for years...I cried the first time I tried it and I didn't sweat all over my shirt all day, LOL. I've noticed that over the years my body has gotten somewhat "acclimated" to the Certain Dri and for about two years I've been pairing it with Secret Clinical (which also smells nice!).

Yep...Certain Dri is one of those cheap, hero products. It's been around for years, and quite simply: it works.

Trying certain dri

stronger deodorant *tmi

I get it too.

One of my friends got botox in her underarms and said it was fantastic. She did sweat a lot out of other areas though - lower back, between the boobs etc - until it wore off on the underarms.

I have a problem with underarm sweating too.

Mitchum deodorant helps me quite a bit.

I've also considered botox for my armpits and still haven't ruled it out. Shame it's only a temporary cure.
