I found these recipes just browsing on the web. I wanted to try taking the vinegar and water that everyone keeps talking about, but I found this tea recipe, and it was pretty good. It was sweet and slightly tangy, I found it pretty pleasant as a hot tea!
1 mug or cup of hot water
1-2 pkg splenda or other sweetener
1 Tbsp apple cidar vinegar
Just stir the splenda and vinegar into the hot water and sip
Ok here's the muffin recipe. It can be found on recipezaar.com recipe #347115 I found it searching for south beach diet recipes, tho I'm not on south beach, just eating low gi. My recipe is different from the original. I hope you guys enjoy these recipes! These were more like a whole grain muffin than a sweet muffin. It would be good with some butter or low carb syrup, they were alittle bland for my taste, but good enough for me to make one every morning!
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons unbleached cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon ( or more, i used about 2tsp)
- 2 teaspoons fat free yogurt or fat free sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons ground flax seeds
