 Switch from Gluc XR to Met - so far so good!
Just wanted to let you all know. I quit taking the Gluc XR about a year ago because of lingering side effects. The pills would go right through me and come out almost intact in my stool. I had been on 2000 mg for YEARS and finally got fed up!
A year later, I asked to try the regular Met (rather than extended release). I'm now up to 1500 mg a day and have had almost NO side effects! WOO HOO!
I know some people tolerate the XR better, but I just wanted to let people know that it's not always the case!
