Question switched to generic

I just switched from synthroid to the generic brand after taking synthroid for over 5 years. I am just curious if you guys had this experience and good results with this? I had been thinking about switching back. I have heard bad thing about generics before. How does it work for yall??

I have not had a good result with switching. My Endo. Doctor said that the dosage changes with the generic with each bottle. My numbers went up with the generic. But you can try it.

I actually liked the generic version better. I was originally on it when dx which was july2006 up until may 2008 my fertility dr was fine and so was my maternal fetal med dr. when i was pregnant. So after I had my daughter I wasnt under there care im seeing an endo and he made me take the brand and I absolutely hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im gonna see if i can switch drs cause he wont let me take the generic.

I've only heard that generics only differ from one generic brand to another and not from batch to batch, so as long as you stick with the same generic brand you should be ok. Well, as long as you feel good on that med in the first place.
