Hi,
anybody else have experience with Desogen?

Yaz has caused me PMS, depression, and general anxiety - plus a lot of panic attacks, especially at first. 4 months later I am finally switching to something else ....desogen.

now i am hoping it does not cause worse pms and anxiety!!

Anyone have experience??

I made the switch from yazmin to desogen, I got off yasmin because of severe heart palpatations and bad anxiety, panic attacks, and emotional problems. it was working great for years for me and then bam!!! I will never know why. anyhow i have been on desogen for a month now after tring to be off the pill for 8 months i finally had to get on one my hormones were just to low . desogen so far is great it is helping get rid of my cystic acne and now i only get a few little pimples. so far no crazy mood swings and i feel fine.

treating my symptoms with healthy foods ,low carb and physical fittness. juicing, and green smoothies, saw palmetto 480mg.
mutivitamin,zinc,and just added desogen bcp for my acne.hope i clear up.

Absolutely. I hated Yasmin with a darn passion -- you name it, it happened. I actually thought I was pregnant on the stupid thing. And DH was pretty sure I was completely losing my mind. You seriously shouldn't have to call off work because your BCP is trying to kill you. I went running straight back to Desogen (generic, actually) and am loving life again! Good luck!

Dx: Fourteen years! 01/1995 at 17
Meds:
Metformin 2000 mg, Pre-natals, Caltrate

Dx with insufficient uterine lining and very low progesterone levels.
1 month of premarin and progesterone before clomid
8/08-9/08 1st clomid cycle = no O
9/5/08 referred to RE and fertility clinic
9/16/08 first appointment with RE
October 08-April 09 worked up to 200 mg Clomid. Consistently ovulating and now praying for better timing.
