For the last couple of days my feet and hands are swollen for some reason. My hands are not too bad, but my feet are almost twice their usual size - I had to wear flip-flops to work today because I couldn't put on my regular shoes!
Any ideas why this would happen and what would help get rid of it? I've been really trying to keep my feet propped up, but that doesn't seem to be helping.

Gosh, Tara,
Could AF be treating you this badly? If I were you, I'd check my blood pressure and cut down on salt for a few days, I'd call the doctor's office and ask the nurse or doctor about it, and if it didn't go down by tomorrow, I'd go for a few beers or a diuretic of some kind. It sounds like water, but the mystery is why. Could you have an allergic reaction to something?
Best wishes,
Sheri

Actually, if it were AF treating me this badly I'd be ecstatic. I've been waiting and waiting...
I have been carefully watching salt today, but I hadn't thought to check my blood pressure. I'll have to stop by the drugstore on my way home and use the little machine.
I have been wondering if it might be some kind of allergic reaction, since I've also been itching a lot today. Maybe I should try a dose of Benedryl?

There was a thread awhile back on Carney syndrom which involves abnormal, rapid, foot growth. You may want to search for it. I'd post the link if I knew how.
