Hi,
I just heard about symlin the other day, my SIL (who has PCOS and diabetes) was telling me about it. Apparently it's an injectable you take at home (kind of like insulin). The main side effects are nausea and low blood sugar so the website says to be sure to eat when you take it. It also said it can help weight loss because you feel full sooner? (at least that's what I got out of the articles I read online)
Hope this helps
Jenny
