He says that if I take only ONE supplement for my pcos, this is what he'd like me to take. He has a whole regimen, but I cant afford what he would really like me to be on. This one would only be $55 every 2 months, I can handle that.
Reading the ingredients, my worry is that this will just cover up the symptoms of pcos by adding artificial hormones to my body. But I'm also at the point where I'd try almost anything.
My ND just suggested that I try it as part of a larger plan. I haven't started yet so I don't have much insight but I do completely trust my ND. She did tell me that it has worked for some of her other patients in the past.
As she puts it: it's like healing like. The formula is a little bit of (bovine?) ovary and is suppose to make your ovaries "understand" what they're suppose to do.
BTW - The company has a really good reputation for sustainable/ethical practices.
Has anyone used this? My chiropractor wants me to try it. Before I invest though, I'm curious about other experiences with it.
I have been on this product. I was on it years ago, and recently I went on it again. My period seems to be weird where I get it twice a month at times (I have other issues, including Candida, CFS and Fibromyalgia). When I'm on it for a few months at a time, my period returns back to normal, and there's no side effects like with the birth control pill. I was only on it for a month (last month) and went off of it, and now I have my period again, and I just had it on the 1st of this month - so, once again, I have a bottle on me, and I will stay on it.
I do believe in glandulars. I'm on a few of them. They aren't like a medication - they take time to work, and you have to be on them for a bit - in some cases, a few months.
