symptoms worse on met?

Ive been on 1000mg a day for 18 days and other than the s/e, which haven't been too bad, my PCOS symptoms are worse! My acne is exploding, but the worst thing is, I'm hungry all the time. I was hardly ever hungry before met. Now, even if I'm not hungry I have to eat or I get nauseous and shaky. Anyone ever have anything like this?

i was on 1500mg metformin for 1 mnth, all it did for me was to give me an upset stomach (real bad!!). I also had an increased appetite, i couldn't handle the side effects so i came off it. Hopefully you will be able to stick it out, perhaps the flaring up of the acne is just temporary!!
