Default Synthroid and Caffeine

Since starting synthroid I can't have any caffeine. Yesterday I had a cup of coffee in the morning and it kept me up all night. Does anyone else have this problem?

Interesting that you should say that! I have been steadily increasing my synthryoid dosages and all of a sudden I have difficulty sleeping. I was always such a good sleeper! I am going to cut out the caffeine and see if this helps.

It could be the Synthroid that is affecting your sleep and not the caffine. Whenever my dose was adjusted up, I would usually have problems sleeping. I wouldn't be getting nearly enough sleep, but sure didn't miss it until my body got used to the dose, or it was lowered.
