Default Synthroid and nausea

I have been on synthroid for about 1 month now. It has no taste to me but for some reason right after I've taken it I get really sick to my stomach. It happens like a few seconds after I've taken it and it last maybe 1 minute. Maybe because we have to take it on an empty stomach?

Anyone else have this happen?

When I started Synthroid I got a bit nauseated after taking it. The nausea stopped after a while. I don't remember how long it took, but I feel nothing now. Hang in there!!!

I just started back on Synthroid. Are you taking it with lots of water? My script bottle says to take Synthroid w/lots of water. Of course I have only started taking it. I will have to make a mental note to see if it causes naseua. I hope it gets better for you!

never had that happened. I have had heartburn w/ zoloft if i didn't drink enough water with it. Try drinking a full glass of water with it and see if that helps. If it doesn't, try taking ginger tablets the night before (make sure you have at least 6 hours between the ginger and the synthroid!) and see if that helps. ginger really helps with nausea!
