synthroid and weight loss has anyone noticed weight loss since starting synthroid?

I only lost about 6 lbs when I started taking it, but I wasn't overweight when I started it though.

I didn't lose any weight - I have been on it about 2 years - but was not overweight when I started it.

I just started it a few months ago, but I
do think I lost some weight, especially around my neck and face. My face, which is normally pretty thin, had puffed up prior to starting synthroid. Now it's even thinner than it was.

Are you dieting and exercising? Synthroid doesn't equal weightloss...it just makes it possible and stops swelling.

I lost the 20 lbs I gained from it about 9 months after being on synthroid, with the help of Weight Watchers. I was really puffy and lost that. Then got it back about 3 years later when diagnosed with PCOS.

I've been on it since the end of July 07 and haven't lost any weight from it.. My weight is stable though.. haven't gained any.
