Here is one of my much older poems... it kinda reflects how I have felt nearly my entire life... I was always that child that was teased, and it only got worse as I got older, all through high school I didn't fit in, and well even now it seems like a lot of times I don't. To me it feels as if many people look down on me, as if I am in some way inferior to them, so well that is where this poem comes from, I'm sure at least some of you can relate.
Take a look at me, not though,
I am human, just like you.
I have Fears and Hopes,
and trials in which to cope.
I have wishes and dreams,
Memories that I cling.
I need to feel love,
Do not look upon me from above.
Come to my plane
Can’t you see we’re the same?
Come down from the skies,
And look into my eyes.
Dare to look past the skin
Look deep with in
Now please tell me,
Who do you see?
