Take part in the upcoming PCOS Documentary on Discovery Healt Channel
Hi Gang,
I shot the first part of my interview in NYC this past weekend for
my upcoming PCOS Documentary on the show Mystery Diagnosis, which is
a new program premiering on Discovery Health Channel this Fall!
This will be a monumental piece due to the impact it will have on
the PCOS Community and public, as well. It tells my story of the
struggles and journey I had to go through to find the proper
diagnosis and treatment. Something many of you are all too familiar
with. The exciting news is they want other women in the PCOS
Community to take part in this episode, as well. This is our
opportunity to bring awareness to the syndrome. You can play a key
role in making this happen by sharing your before and after PCOS
pictures to put faces behind the syndrome and to show how it changes
a person. The PCOS Episode will be number 4 out of 6 episodes
scheduled on the network this fall.
If you are interested in being part of this documentary by sharing
your before and after pictures, please read below and forward your
details on or prior to June 15. This is a great opportunity for
organizations and support groups to help bring recognition to the
syndrome. Please encourage everyone you know who has PCOS to take
part!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TO MAKE A SUBMISSION
The producers are looking for women and girls with PCOS to share
before and after pictures. By before I mean pictures of you before
the effects of PCOS really started displaying themselves and an
after the end result of dealing with PCOS, you at your worst with
the syndrome. If anyone is interested in sharing this information
with Discovery Health, please e-mail me your before and after
picture and a short bio ( about a paragraph. You must include your e-
mail address and a phone number for the producers to contact you. I
will be forwarding the candidates on to The producers and then they
will contact the people they want, to work out the details of having
your pictures on the program.

P.S. If you decide not to participate in sharing your photo, please
consider sharing this information with everyone you know in the PCOS
Community. Continual updates on the programs air date will be
shared with you when they become available. In the meantime, start
planning a viewing party with your friends, family and/or co-workers
to help them understand PCOS and the importance of awareness!
