I don't know why but sometimes you will skip a bleed on BCPs. I didn't get a bleed when I finished my first pack of Desogen many years ago... I was in college and I went to student health for a pregnancy test and it was neg. They told me just to start the next pack on time and not to worry about it. Then it happened again years later on Yasmin and I just chalked it up to a fluke and started the next pack on time. For some reason 2 days later I decided to test and it was +++. It's *possible* you are pregnant, you could have ovulated late in the pack and just aren't able to get a +++ yet. But it's also possible it's just a fluke.
As for starting the next pack of BCP - I would first of all test again just to be sure you aren't pregnant now. Then if it is negative you can
- Wait for AF to show, start BCP accordingly, use back-up protection in the meantime
- Call your doctor and get a script for something to induce your period (Provera or Prometrium), start BCP accordingly, use back-up in the meantime (I would go this route if your periods tend to be few and far between, as mine are)
- Just start BCP any time (making sure you test first!) and use back-up protection the first month on the pill. When I got pregnant on Yasmin I had just started it without having a period and ovulated early into the pack.

We never talk of our lacking relationships
And how we're guilt-stricken, sobbing, with our heads on the floor
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip..."
