Default Taking met er and not i/r?
ANyone else NOT insulin resistant and taking met? Right now I am taking 500mg and then in a week going up to 1000mg, I guess my question is if you are not i/r and taking met, is it helping you at all? Any pregnancies out there?? Just wondering. I am really excited about taking it, and very hopeful!

Well, my insulin levels were fine the last time they were tested (although I am not sure when that was, so I am not sure that they are entirely accurate).

I've been on met for about a month now. I am ttc. I think I am losing some weight. The skirt I have on today has been tight the last couple of times I have worn it, when I first put it on--but not today--there was actually some room in there! (I don't own a scale, and don't intend to, either).

I have to say that the last time I lost weight, it didn't take me much time at all to get pg.

There are a TON of studies on the benefits of met for ALL PCOSers, not just those with IR. My labs were always normal to borderline, and it (with exercise and diet) has been a miracle for me.

I'm not IR and I'm taking met...

I'm TTC...I'm not as postitive thinking as I used to be, but I'm feeling good...

I was, and I got pregnant three times on it, hoping this third one is going to stick. I was on 1700 mg per day. Good luck to you!
