From what I read online before I started taking vitex , it usually takes around 6 months for the vitex to really get into your system to see any differences. Some women say they only took it for a week & started their period that they hadnt seen in along time. I think it works differently for everyone. It also depends on how many you take a day. Ive seen some women that started out taking 3 or 4 a day. I only started out with one a day & thats still what I take. So dont give up yet. As for taking vitex with a diet pill. I am taking vitex & the diet pill adipex. My doctor said it was ok for me. But again everyone is different & the diets pills are different. So you might want to check with your doctor, just to be safe. Have you taken the diet pill that your taking before? How does it work for you? Ive been taking Adipex off & on for about 4 years now. I think my body is getting used to it because its not working as well as it once did for me. The first time I took it, I lost 50 pounds in 4 months. Then I stopped taking it & gained back 60pounds. Went back on it & lost 55. I cant get rid of the last 5pounds...lol Of course now im still taking the pill but im gaining weight anyway, which is causing me to get depressed again. I have battled my weight all my life & im so tired of it. Anyway, good luck with your weight loss.
