Tamoxifen (Nolvadex)

Hi Eveyone Im New And I Am Glad That I Joined This Group. I Wish I Could Have Found You Earlier. Well I Am Here Now....Im Taking Met 850 mg, Provera 10mg to get my period and Tamoxifen 10 mg....But I have went through the message board and have found no one that has used Tamoxifen...Maybe I am blind or something, but please if anyone knows anything about this drug help me............Im new I need all the help I can get to get through this.......Im on my second cycle tyring to get pregnant and I even got the ClearBlue Fertility Monitor.......

I don't post here very often but saw your post and I know what you mean.

I'm waiting for o on 6th cycle of tamoxifen. My first 3 cycles were with 20mg x 2 daily and the last three on 40 mg x 2 daily. I've previously taken clomid and provera (before concieving dd - on non med cycle) and suffered badly with side effects so my gynae suggested tamoxifen. We've been ttc #2 since May 2001 and not sure what next step will be (assuming no pg this cycle). I see gynae on 23 September so guess we'll know then.

Before starting the tamoxifen I took met 1500mg daily for 12 months but as I'm not IR it had no effect.
