Default TASTY Parsley Tea??

Hi Ladies,

I tried the Parsly Tea this week. It was, as many of you said, pretty vile and hard to choke down. I made enough for one day/4 cups and was too busy and already sick of it by the end of day one, that I couldn't be bothered to make anymore for day too.

Anyway, now 3 days later I decided to give it another go. This time, I used a very large bunch of parsley, chopped it all in a food processer. Brought a large stock pot to boil (13 cups of water. 12 to use and 1 that i knew would probably evaporate during the simmering process), once boiling i turned it right down low and THEN added the parsley (the amount of parsley worked out to about 4tsp/cup).
I let it simmer for 45 minutes and then strained it. Because i had chopped it so fine, some bits got through the strainer but it sank to the bottom. I then used a turkey baster to 'extract' the tea without all the bits and transfered it to 6 500 ml/2 cup water bottles.
Once cool, I added a sachet of Nestea singles fruit punch or cran/raspberry (your choice. crystal light would work but it gives me heartburn).

Once I added the drink crystals, the parsley flavour was barely noticable.

I wondered if this was all a waste, drinking it cold and adding drink crystals
but after 4 cups yesterday, and so far 3 cups today- I'm SPOTTING.

I spotted a bit with NPC a few months ago but never actually got AF. I haven't had AF in years since the last time i took Prometrium or Provera.

Nothing seems to work for me, but spotting now is giving me much hope and i'm posting this because for all the ladies there that had to stop drinking due to the awful taste, maybe it's worth another try?

I will update in a day or two as to whether or not it turns into full flow!!

Unhappy

Well the spotting stopped.

It's doing something though because the cramping is more intense.
My body is trying... I'm up to 6 cups a day now, but it just doesn't seem strong enough.

I'm going to continue for a few more days, but i'm not as hopeful as i was when i initially posted. sigh..
