Default Tasty Tuna Pockets

I found this recipe and wanted to share it with you.

Tasty Tuna Pockets

1/2 cup creamy cottage cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
2 Tablespoons low-calorie mayonnaise based salad dressing
1/2 teaspoon dry majoram OR savory, crushed
1 (6 oz.) can Chicken of the Sea Solid White Albacore Tuna
4 small pita breads; cut in half crosswise (you can get whole grain)
1cup lettuce leaves, washed

In bowl, stir together cottage cheese, mozzarella, carrot, yogurt, salad dressing and majoram. Fold in Tuna. Cover and chill for 15 minutes or for several hours. Just before serving, put lettuce leaves into pita bread pockets and then spoon in tuna mixture. Makes 4 servings.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
*It is really good, I buy the whole grain pita pockets or I have also used the Whole Grain Flat Out, flat bread. It is quick and tasty and really good. A good lunch!

I am glad that you are going to try it out. It is alot different then the regular tuna recipes most people make, but I tried it and thought it tasted pretty good and was different. Hope you enjoy!
