Default Tea tree oil

Just want to tip everyone about the wonders of tea tree oil!
It can be used concentrated on acne to make them dissapear, or in facial cleanser etc. And it actually works!
It smells kinda strong, but it smells fresh and clean, too.

If you haven't tried it, you should

Hey, my dad swears my tee tree oil for absolutely everything. I always just agreed with him to make life easier...LOL..Until, I had an infection under my nail and used it on that and it cleared it up no problems. Now I use it on so many things!!

I use Dessert Essence Throughtly Clean Face Wash, you can find it at trader Joes ( in california don't know if it's other places.) You can also find it on line. It has tea tree oil in it. I being a big cyster will someitmes get skin yeast infections under my apron belly or around my belly button or under my arms, and it hurts and smells bad and is slimmy.....sorry way to tmi, But i use the soap in those places helps to keep it down, and if it does flare up it goes away pretty quickly i'd say with in a day. Also great to use on the face with the Tea Tree Oil,

I live by this stuff. I found out about it when I was in massage school and use it every day. I have this tooth paste that has it in it. I think its called Tom's but not sure. I get it at the health food store and it makes my mouth feel great. I alway use the oil on my zits and within a few days they are gone

I use it in my hair. For years i suffered from frizzy, tangly, curly hair. For years i couldn't handle my hair and then i decided to just try tea tree oil out and it has done wonders for my hair. I never thought of using it on my acne. I guess i have to give it a try.

LakotaGirl: How do you use it in your hair? I would love to try it...I use it for other things already but it would be nice if it would tame my naturally curly (wild) hair! Thanks for any help!

Amanda_Gail_81: Well, you can buy it any sally's beauty store, or target or walmart. It comes in a bottle specially made to spray in your hair. It is a hair oil. I'm mixed race so i do have that ethnic style curly hair and my hair does tend to get dry a lot.

this place has awsome tea. the also sell tea oil that you can use for cooking. it is really good for you. better than using olive oil.

Thumbs up tea tree oil

Hi,
I am new around here and just days into PCOS. Absolutely thrilled with the boards and all the great information.
I have used a multitude of products with tea tree oil as one of the key ingredients for years. From personal (skin care, hair care-keeps lice away!!, bath products, dental-helps gum problems etc) to all my laundry and cleaning products to cosmetics.
It has been 10 years now. I made the choice back then not because of PCOS, but because of concern for toxins overall, environment etc and as a nurse was pleased with its natural properties that someone mentioned earlier (natural antiseptic, antifungal, noncaustic, solvent etc)
With all I have had to absorb the last few days learning about having PCOS, I am really glad to come across others using tea tree oil and find out I have been unknowningly doing something good and particularly I think of the positive impact it has probably had on my teenage daughter through puberty.
Now if it would just take care of that nasty patch of chin hairs.............
