Default in tears after another appointment

Hi everyone?
Just a ?. Does any of you know of a doctor in the bristol area who could and would refer you to an endo? Am devastated as had my ca598 appointment yesterday (in sweden though) and the arrogant bastard told me that there is nothing we can do apart from putting me on Diane. He basically told me to stop whinging and said that I could "congratulate my genes for not beig overweight since that would make my symtoms worse. He refused to take any bloodtests since the ultrascan shows that the cysts most certainly are there so we dont need bloodtests. He endend by saing not to believe everything I read on the net and tell me not to come back unless I am ttc. What the f... do I do now?
take care

Hi Carro,

I am so sorry that you had such a terrible appointment... it was completely wrong for the doctor to brush you off like that! I'm just recently diagnosed (after 14 years of overt symptoms), and so I know what being brushed aside feels like. Don't let him get you down! Maybe you could find a doctor that is female; she might be more empathetic. I'm not in the Bristol area, but I've found this site helpful in finding a good doctor in my area:

If you ever want to chat, don't hesitate to drop me a note.

Good luck,
Jen

Hiya. I`m so sorry to hear about your bad experience. I`m not in the Bristol area, but i have also had bad experiences with docs.I can remember being in tears after appointments and thinking i was never going to be able to pick myself up off the floor, but luckily i always did. I think those kind of experiences have made me stronger and more determined in the long run. I hope the same thing happens to you. Just who do these doctors think they are?! This is peoples lives they are playing with!!!
Best wishes
Karen
