I'm surprised no one has said anything yet! Hah...
I for one am seventeen, I just joined the site. Umm, I was diagnosed about 6 months ago. When I was diagnosed, I was so upset! I am still pretty angry about this, but it's something that I've just got to work around, right? I have all of the symptoms: acne, weight gain, hair growth, no menses, and I HATE IT! I just wish there were a cure, but things aren't at their worst if you know what I mean. I just got my second ultrasound results and things are fairly normal (which I was ecstatic about!) I still have PCOS, but their size isn't TOO big. I do remember crying a lot when I was diagnosed, but when you look at all of the symptoms I had, I am surprised I wasn't diagnosed earlier...
(I had never heard of it before!)
I must admit, it took awhile for the whole thing to sink in! This site went a long way in finding info and support!

I was diagnosed in November, and my initial reaction was ANGER! I so, so SO wished it had been Cushing's Disease instead of PCOS. I'm thankful for being diagnosed though. The metformin and yasmin has helped LOADS.

I felt Anger for sure. I was angry that this had happened to me and knowing that I wanted kids. I was sure that was over.
