Default Tegretol and Birth Control, Help?

To put this as simply and shortly and to the point as possible, I have bipolar disorder and am taking medication for it (Tegretol, Seroquel, and Zoloft). I also need to be on a method of birth control. I had to go off of the pill itself because the Tegretol was metabolizing the birth control too quickly and the birth control was not effective.
Now I have been on the Ortho Evra birth control patch because the medicine from the patch goes through the skin and also because of the higher dose of medicine in the patch. Has anyone been successful while taking an anti-convulsant such as Tegretol and also using another method of birth control (besides the patch I mean)? My patches have a terrible habit of falling off and the result is not being as effective as they could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
