I have a question regarding morning temps. I just started taking mine every morning at 7, but what is strange is that I can take it 4 times between 7 and 7:05 and get 4 VERY different readings!
For example, this morning I took my first temp and it was 95.8! Which I thought to be ridiculously low. So I took it a second time and it was 96.7. To see what would happen I took it a third and fourth time and got readings of 97.2 and 97.3 which seemed more accurate, but I'm just curious if anybody else has gotten really strange or varied temps all in one day!
I'm using a digital thermometer so I don't know if that has something to do with it, but I definitely know I'm not reading it incorrectly!

First question, are you getting up and moving around? any movement, even talking, can change your temps.
second, are you using a basal therm or regular? I use one with two decimal places, it is basal.

dont worry about low temps. i had really low temps while i was temping. its going to be lower then moment you wake up than even after sitting up or anything. go with the first temp.
i agree with the other responses. get a basal thermometer. they are just what you need for temping. GL!!
on one more piece of advice...i LOVE the tcoyf software for temping. if you've never read the book, i highly recommend it. but the software for charting is spectacular! taking charge of your fertility is the book. www.tcoyf.com shows some charts too! GL!
