My doctor runs both liver & kidney labs because both can be risk factors for Lactic Acidosis, but I guess that is up the discretion of the Dr.
FSH: LH ratio is a diagnostic tool for diagnosis, but if your FSH:LH was part of the reason you are being put on Met, then they should get a beginning reading so that they can see if that value is improving. Otherwise, it's not neccessary.
