Default To test or not (aka I hate PCOS)

Not sure why I'm even posting this. Anyway, I have 4mo old twins. I got my first pp af the end of May. I got it on my own without any meds (no met no nothing). On a "normal" cycle I am now over a week late. I can't say wether I've had any real symptoms or not cause I just had surgery last week to have my gall bladder taken out. I don't want to waste a test since I'm not having any symtoms but I don't want to continue doing/taking things that might be harmful in the slight case I am. I just don't know whether to think the PCOS has "corrected" itself for this. WWYD?

If it were me, I would test, just to be sure. Like you said, you don't want to be doing things or taking things that could be harmful. I would test just to be safe. Just my opinion!
Let us know what happens!

Do Test, because now I'm curious! lol I had my gallbladder removed at 5 weeks PP so I couldn't tell you whether or not it messed up my cycle because I was still PP bleeding.

If you are then you definitely don't want to be doing anything potentially dangerous. Please let us know! and good luck for whichever you are hoping for.

I would test just in case. But I can tell you from personal experience that major surgery can offset your period. I was supposed to have my period the week of my back surgery back in 1993. I worried over it a little, but it ended up being about 2 weeks late. Which was great because the first week I couldn't walk, but by the second week I could handle it. Plus the period was almost nothing! It was like my body was saying "I know you are going through this right now, so I'm going to make your period not as bad" LOL.

Let us know!

Well I tested and I'm not pregnant. As much as I would love more kids and am hoping to have them someday, I'm just not ready right now. Dealing with the twins is quite enough for me right now, especially since DS is a major handfull.

The scary thing is that I thought DH would be thrilled that I am not pg because he's been worrying about it since last week. But when I told him he said he was kind of dissapointed. Men!

I'm glad that you tested! At least you know now. I can't imagine that twins would be a handful! I helped a women with her newborn twins for the first couple months and WOW did I learn alot! You'll be in my prayers!

I'm glad you tested. I understand your DH's feelings. Isn't always even just a little disappointing when you get that negative? But you have your hands full right now and you have time to devote to them. Thanks for updating us.
