Default Test Patch from Laser

Okay, so I went to the laser place Friday and talked to the nurse, and she was VERY clear with everything. The service was wonderful. Then she did a test patch. Wow! I was expecting much worse. She described the pain to be a snapping of a rubber band...yea, I guess it was, or less than - but NO worse! And now? I have a hairless patch under my chin! I cannot wait till the 17th where I'll get the first FULL procedure done.

Take care!

So far, I have my hopes!

Default my experience

Heya,

Just thought i'd let you know the results of my first session... It was a tad painful for me, along the jaw line and lower neck area. But i must say it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. When it hurt a little too much to my liking I could ask for an ice pack break which was awesome.

It took a little bit to actually see results. The hair kept on growing so I kept on shaving once a day since i was forbidden to pluck or wax.

Gradually the hair has stopped growing back so quickly. Now, two weeks later, after a patch test and a full session, I can happily say that I haven't had to shave my face in 3 days. I have noticed that the hair grows back a bit more if I miss on my medication. Don't know if its normal, I am assuming so since my meds control my hormones... I'm nontheless very happy of the results!!!

Looking forward to being worry-free.

Great news. Not to discourage you, but to prepare you, don't be surprised if by the 3rd treatment you feel like you have more hair. My tech explained that in order for the cells to become a hair it takes 12 weeks for the entire process. So by the time you have your 3rd treatment, some of the hair zapped at the first treatment may have come back. The good news is that after the 2nd treatment you really see some serious results. I would say that I had a 60% reduction in the amount of hair gone after 2 treatments. I've now had 6 and see about a 90% reduction (it's those stubborn chin hairs that won't go away). Good luck. Stick with it, it is worth it.
