Question test results

My gyno's nurse just called me and told me my test results were normal and that I probably didn't have pcos. My insulin level was 17.4 and she saidas long as it was under 23 I am ok. I just read the faq sheet from inciid and it says over 13 is IR. What should I do?

Hello and Welcome

Did you see a regular OB/GYN? I would recommend getting a referral for an endocrinologist.

Good luck!!

Get youself to an RE who handles PCOS and get ultrasounds (external and transvaginal) to see if you have the "string of pearls" cysts on your ovaries.

PCOS is not as cut and dry as one test being able to confirm or deny- it is a multitude of things that need to be looked at as a whole...good luck.
