Default test results and total confusion

Hi,

can any of you thyroid gurus help interprete my thyroid panel results. I have finally got a print out from my ever unhelpful endo and don't have the ranges but they are:

TSH: 1.06

Free T3 3.7

Free thyroxine 15

According to the endo these are all normal. But from what I have read on the board the free thyroxine seems high. I've been feeling so bad for the last six months - exhausted all the time and I'm wondering if this panel shows any indication of thyroid problems. I seem to have all the symptoms of hypo.

any help would be great.

thanks,

Felix

thyroxine is t4 yes?
If so.. that's incredibly high for T4.

And your TSH looks normal but from what I understand that doesn't mean much.

From what I understand (which is how I interpret what I read) your T4 isn't being converted to T3? But I don't know what normal range is for T3 to be honest because I haven't seen my labwork results to see what range they test for.

Your labwork didn't show ranges on it?? Hrm, I would demand a copy of the actual lab results. By law, they have to give them to you even if they charge a fee. But they cannot withold that information from you.
