Default testing in 2 days!

I am testing in 2 days to see if the IVF was successful. I am trying to prepare myself for failure, but am unsure how. Do you guys have any tips on how to prepare myself so that I am not devastated if it did not work out? Any thoughts on gaining a healthy perspective? I have been so moody lately-at times cheerful at the prospect of being pregnant and at other times tearful at the prospect of the test coming out negative. I am so worried that it will have been a failure.

Sara - I'm not sure I have any good advice (just wanted to give you a bump). I am in my first 2WW ever (after my first O and first IUI) and I'm freaking out.. I can imagine that IVF is even more involved and stressful. I think in this TTC "game" you have to stay positive though, as it is the only way to keep your head level, however, you also have to be realistic, and realize lots of things can happen... But I think that's just part of becomign a parent... I just know i'm in for a roller coaster ride of emotions, and there are things I can control, and other things I can do nothing about. So focus on what you can control, and try not to dwell on the others...

I don't have much advice for you. I have seen so many BFN's but I still get so disappointed after each one. I have gotten to the point where I just don't test and just wait for AF to show. Good Luck to you and keep us updated.
