Hello! We are anxiously waiting lab results for my daughter (14 yo) to see if she might have PCOS. The doctors office tells me they have received all of the results except for the testosterone. I guess that is the real deciding factor!? They said it can be up to 3 weeks to get the results. Does anyone know if this is normal for it to take that long for blood test results for testosterone?

I got all my blood work results at the same time including testosterone. It only took my doctor about a week or so to get the results back. Of course I would say that it would depend on the lab that your doctor uses.

another thing to remember, is that high testosterone levels goes along with PCOS...

I remember that it took longer to get the testosterone levels back then any other test but 3 wks does sound a bit long.
