I just got my blood work back. I have bad hairloss. I am not sure if my levels of testosterone are high. My total was 48 and my free testosterone was 7.3. Is this real high? Is this high enough to be causing this hair loss? He gave me 25mg of spiro. Is that enough? Any help would be great.

I just got my results back from my free testosterone test and the nurse told me it is supposed to be between 0.0-2.2, so your 7.3 is high. Hopefully the spiro will help you. I think the testosterone level of 48 is high as well, but I'm not for sure on what that is supposed to be, also do not have an answer about the hairloss. Hopefully the spiro will help, most people here take 50-200 mg so maybe you can ask the doc to up the dosage on that.
