Default Testosterone Testing

My doctor gave me a scrip to take to the lab so I can get free & total Testosterone blood work done. Is there a certain time of the month that's best to test this? Is there any time of the month I shouldn't test this?

That's a good question. Anybody know?

I'd never thought of that before, and my endo checks my testosterone every time I see her. If our cycles affect it then I should probably make my appointments accordingly.

Cool Testing

Any ideas on why day 3 is best? I know that levels change throughout the month, but what is it about day 3 that would make it best to test at that time?

My gynecologist didn't say it was best during a certain time of the month. I got mine tested today so I hope I get accurate results as it's not day 3 for me.

The hormones are pretty level at the beginning part of your cycle. Here is a link with a chart:
