Default Thank You

~I do not believe in God. Saying thank you always gets tricky when you aren't sure what or whom to thank. These thanks are more directed to the people who have helped me and loved me, to the world that has afforded me life.~

I am thankful for the man who loves me unconditionally. No matter how much I *****, moan, complain or nag. The blind man who never sees my extra rolls or hairy chin and who has stuck with me through 14 years of IF, the loss of twins, 3 pregnancies and 6 rounds of nasty Clomid mood swings. For 13 years of marriage I Thank you

I am thankful to the bartender who stopped serving the drunk driver who hit my husband in the early morning hours 4 years ago. 1 more drink and she may not have been able to find the brake at all. To the off duty paramedics who pulled him from the car, to the hospital who treated him and to the ortho who put his legs back together I Thank you.

I am thankful for the women I used to call a friend who did something so unthinkable it taught me to stand up for myself. To the person who hurt me the most for giving me the opportunity to find my voice I Thank you.

I am thankful for the GYNE that told me I would never have children. The hard cold look on her face that said she couldn't care less and her accusing fingers pointing at my weight. Without your ignorance I would not have found the perseverance to find the RIGHT doctor. For that I Thank you

I am thankful for the people who didn't say "it was meant to be" the night I miscarried my twins. For knowing enough to say nothing at all I Thank you.

I am thankful to my daughter Hannah for teaching me patience. My son Joshua for teaching me perfect doesn't always have to be 'perfect'. I thank my daughter Isabella for her early arrival which taught me expect the unexpected. For teaching me the most important lessons I have ever learned I Thank you.
