I love my mother-in-law. Not only did she raise a great son but she loves me as if I were her daughter. She has made me feel welcome in her family since day one, and she is such an awesome grandma. She lives in town here and I feel so blessed to have her available and close.

Anyone else with a wonderful MIL?

Sometimes I find things easier with my MIL than my own Mum, because you don't have all that history!

That's so great you have such a wonderful MIL!! I know, mine is too. She is so thoughtful and considerate to both me and DH. She lives 3,000 miles away but we try to talk on the phone and email as much as she can. It's too bad MILs have such a bad rap, b/c mine is the best!
