Hi! I'm Aleshia from Arizona. I can't tell you how helpful this site has been so far. It's so nice to know that you're not alone.

I'm 27 yrs old and was diagnosed in July with PCOS after going off BCP in April. I had a perfectly on time AF in May and then they stopped in June and July. That's when my OB diagnosed me. Since April, I've gained 10 lbs all in the belly. I also started to notice more hair loss while in the shower. (thankfully I have a lot to spare) The acne has been horrible (jawline, chest and back) and I've noticed some facial hair on my chin. All of these lovely symptoms make me feel SO PRETTY

TTC#1 since April. In July, my OB put me on Progesterone to start AF. She came in Aug and that's when I started Clomiphene 50mg. AF has been coming on her own since (CD 28-30 days) which is pretty good in my book. 10/12/07-10/16/07 my OB upped the Clomiphene to 100mg. Due to my "levels" not showing without a doubt an Ovulation the prior month. 10/15/07-11/3/07 I tracked my ovulation with Answer Daily Tracking Strips. I found it very helpful. There was some faint LH line from 10/15/07 - 10/27/07, then on 10/28/07 the LH line was super dark. This meant for me I Ovulated on day 19! I continud tracking with the strips. On 10/31/07, the LH line went faint again. Sadly, AF started yesterday, but atleast I finally have a better idea of when I "O"... "There is always next month" I keep telling myself.

Thanks again for the site. It just feels good to be able to rant about my issues a bit to someone who is also going through it with me.
