is there hope? well after 2 years of gaining weight while exercising and eating a good diet i finally figured out what's wrong. it was a very emotional rollercoaster for me not knowing why i was gaining weight and no one seemed to help me. I'm only 16 so i didn't think it could really be anything where i would have to take medication and such. I finally got into a pediatric endocronoligst and found out i have pcos and high insuline. my doctor prescried me metformin 1,000 mg a day and i've been taking it for a few weeks now. i still haven't lost weight and am starting to get my hopes up...i know it's really soon to get so discouraged but i just don't want to deal with being "the fat girl" anymore. Does anybody know how long it will take me to start seeing results or if i will at all? thank you all for reading this and i hope you can help
p.s. I havent' had any side effects at all. which i guess is good since i was reading the horrible issues people had with it.
