Question There it was, like Magic (Magic Products)

Today I was shopping for band-aids, shampoo, etc... I'm going down the aisle and bam there it is! I wasn't even looking for it! There was the Magic cream and 3 kinds of Magic powders. I think they were sensitive, extra-strength, and regular. I can't believe I did it. I brought home the cream. I still haven't used it. I'm still greatly surprised this stuff was at Fred Meyer's.

I have some hairs in the back of my neck that bug me during the Summer because I wear my hair up. Does anyone know if I can use it where the hair is kind of longer, say a couple inches long? Or do I have to shave the area and wait a couple days? I hate shaving it back there because it itches afterwards and I get red and sore. The same thing happens with waxing. Would be nice if I could get away with using the Magic for that area!

Still worried about trying it... I burned bad from Nair a few years ago.

I went looking yesterday for the Magic cream. It sounds great, I hope that I can find some soon.

Yeah Fred Meyers! I never would have guessed at Freddy's for some reason... LOL! It wasn't even at Walgreens or Target.

It's cool that it's at Freddy's because you can go through self checkout and with all the rest of your stuff. No funny looks from anyone...hehe!! I hope you find it. I still haven't tried it yet, but plan to soon.

I saw the platinum version on drugstore.com for like $2.49. It had some good reviews.

I used it!!!

My husband trimmed the hair behind my neck with scissors first. Then he put the cream on. It smelled but didn't burn. Not every hair came off though and near the end my skin was a tiny bit sensitive. I don't think this would work for my face and I'm not brave enough to try it there for now...

I also had some hair on my shoulders. I used it there too. It burned there though, but again not so bad. I don't care for the smell after use. Kind of masculine. I told my DH about that and he said he didn't think it was so bad. He gave me a hug afterwards.

I found the Magic Cream last night..well, actually the powder products, in the Dollar General store at our mall. It was only $1.50, so I bought some and used it when I got home. It's a miracle! My face is so smooth.

Does anyone know how long it lasts?

I am just curious if you can use this cream anywhere - and if so - does it burn your skin at all?

I've used Nair before on my legs and it works, but it burns my face...hmmmmmmmm

i know that there are lots of ladies who have used this without any problems - i guess it depends on your skin, and maybe how long you leave it on.

i used it on my upper lip - not good. it left me red, raw and numb. i will never use it there again. waxing is fine for my upper lip and it lasts a long time.

i used it on my chin. it wasn't so bad there, but the hair grew back the next day (waxing doesn't work here for me as the hair is just too course).

i also tried it 'down below'. i think i did it wrong though. i actually shaved there first (i didn't intend to use magic at all) and i was left with loads of stubble, where my razor couldn't get to. so then i used magic and it was not good - i was left with a big red welt! maybe if i'd not shaved first, it would've been better.

so far, the chin has been the best place. i'd use it there again if i wanted really smooth results and i was going out somewhere special or something.

i'm actually considering using vaniqua, even though it's $40 a tube. my chin hair is getting worse, specially since coming off the pill.
