I've been reading the posts here with both a smile and a (puzzled) frown. I was diagnosed with PCOS a week ago, type II diabetes a month ago (and have lost 16 lbs. since the diagnosis!) and was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis 14 years ago. So far so good....I belong to that extent...... The reason for my questioning heading is this: my wife is male to female, preoperative, transexual. Some people label me hetero.....some label me lesbian....others label me bi.....some label me crazy, lol.....I label me human. I would like to participate here but don't want to make people uncomfortable.....so I need to ask, is there room for me here?
I suppose I don't really need to give all that information, but it would be nice to have a place where I can be all of myself.

I was not sure if this was the place for me to be, since I haven't labeled myself yet. The responses, information and great reads I get here often feels like I'm talking with old friends. I hope you feel as welcome as I do.
I was always hoping that HERE of all places on this board is where there is room for everyone. green label, blue lable, bi label, straight label, any label, or no label, isn't that what a rainbow is for... to seek cover from the gray-judgemental-closed minded wall of grudge. (no offense gray ;-) )
and I think it is what you feel and not what label you think you need to wear (except for the human label... that one makes it so much easier to communicate with the rest of us on these boards if you have a way to type/send replies :-) )
and as Galeshka puts it so nicely... as long as you bring all of yourself, it is good to be here!
Many thanks to everyone for your caring and supportive replies! I agree with Zebra, it's being human and 'bringing all of yourself' which matters...and makes for honest and supportive communication. I also agree with SeattleKnitChik, I would love to get to know all of you and look forward to reading more posts from you, the more the merrier!

i just wanted to tel you welcome to the soulcyster family you are more than welcome to join this bord. i look forword to hearing more from you and getting to know you
Well i think that is just great. All of us getting together to make a woman feel welcome. And yes you are more than welcome. More so in my opinion then me a bisexual girl that is married to a man. It doesn't get anymore straight than that. LOL!! Although, I do play with my husbands permission. I think that you just wanting to be here is wonderful. I always think that we are frowned upon and most would love to get rid of us. Love Holly
