Default Are these aches of pregnancy normal?

Ok this morning I just woke up sore. Like my groin and lower abdomen was seriously tender and sore. Last night my back and hips were hurting this dull aching. My back seems to hurt all the time now. Like my lower back and my love-handles. Is this normal at this early in pregnancy? I am a fluffy sista, so maybe this adds to it, the extra weight?

I often get little aches and pains in my abdomen and lots of round ligament pains, but nothing persistent. It's like just your uterus and round ligaments stretching but you may want to call your doctor to make sure

I'm not sure, i get the same thing I feel like my groin area and pelvic bones just ache. When I walk, when I sit or pretty much anything. Of course I'm right much futher along then you. My guess is it's growing pains. I know in my first trimester I had all kinds of strange things going on.

I have similar pains as you and I have sore hips from walking too much or laying too long in a position.

Thanks girls, lot of help. I'm still sore but I was really busy bending and walking (filing room) yesterday at work, and cleaning at home. So maybe that's causing some more than normal soreness.

Im a fluffy cyster too (Im almost 300lbs) and around 12wks I had a lot of cramping and pain and was totally freaked out, but it was ligament pain. I rang the maternity ER just to be sure and they said unless its accompanied by bleeding or strange discharge it was nothing to worry about.

As for now, I get them every so often still, when I rang the ER this time I had no movement so they brought me in, just a case of BH

So my advice is it sounds like stretching (mine was period cramp like). If your worried, call your docs or a nurse line or like me the maternity section

Probably ligament pain. My tailbone, pubic bones, etc hurt all the time. I get shooting pains down my leg that totally stop me. I found out I have sciatica, which only a low percentage of pregnant women get.:-)

Sounds like the round ligament pain I had in my 1st pregnancy. Mine got so bad that I couldn't walk, but to be sure I would call your doctor.
