Hey there! Part 3 huh?? That's great.

Well, I went to my RE appt. today and all 4 follies are ready to go!!! I'll be giving myself the trigger shot tonight (never touched a needle before except to sew!!) I'm a little freaked about it. Hopefully I can't mess it up.

Hope all you ladies are doing good!!

I just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone real quick and that I am still thinking of you all and wishing you luck. I've been really sick and the nausea has yet to let up. I am still throwing up and in fact called my doc office this morning to finally get a prescription for anti-nausea medication. I am still crossing my fingers for all of you and have not forgotten anyone.

Default Hi Girls

Wanted to join the new tread...
Just heard from my dr (old one.. going to RE April 12) that my progesterone on CD 18 was only 0.4!!!!! So no ovulation this month. Probably no AF either. FRUSTRATED. My testosterone was 48. Is that okay? I have been on Met for about 1.5 months. Is clomid generally the next step??

Thanks,
Maija

Hi everyone. i just wanted to give a quick update! I had another temp rise three days ago and it has been up for three days now... i o'd on CD20, dh and i bd'ed on CD14 using a condom, CD18 using withdrawal, and CD20 using wd... now i know wd isn't the best form of bc, especially when it is on the day of o... maybe i am just reading too much into the second temp raise... what do you all think. i haven't really had any symptoms... i have been sick on my stomach, but i just figured that was part of my cycle... and i have been realy dizzy, not the last two days, but the four or five days before that... i know that charts can be triphasic whether or not someone is preg... but wouldn't that be somethin... and i have NO idea when to expect AF... so i don't know when or if i should test...

Welcome Maija! This is a great group of girls! they are very helpful!! i think 48 is an ok lever of test. but i am not really the one to ask... i think that it is "ok" as long as it is under 100... but someone else may correct me.

Welcome Nikki too!

Serenity- i am sorry you are so sick. maybe the meds will help that! i will be praying for you!

Crystal- i can't believe that you could possibly get pregnant with four babies at once... that is crazy! GL! i hope everything works out! (just close your eyes and stick! hehe...)

Take a look at my chart... tell me what you think...

Hi everyone, just wanted to mark my spot on this new thread. Thanks AMF for sharing your story regarding clomid. This afternoon I meet with my new RE for my second appointment. I will be having an ultrasound and possible bloodwork. Yesterday my husband went into for a semen analysis and bloodwork. After my results come back, all three of us will meet for another consultation and most likely I will start provera and clomid (first time) so I am sure I will be asking you a ton of questions. Congrat's on your twins!

ASmay- I would test in another 4-6 days if you still feel like you do now. I felt very premenstral-like before I got my bfp and was sure that I was about to get my period, but was really preggo! Are you using OTK as well as temps? I found them to be very helpful, but maybe b/c I couldn't figure out the whole temp thing. Good luck! Just curious, why use a condom and withdrawal if you are trying to get preg?

lucy- thank you. ask away...good luck with your test results.

oceangirl- I remember my original testosterone numbers were in the high 70s before starting any meds, so 48 seems like it is in a good range. do you know what your numbers were before starting the met? that progesterone level is still really low, mine was in that range too, until I took clomid. I think that amy and serenity both got preg just on met, so everyone is diff and those numbers could change at anytime.

curlysue- your daughter is just precious! good luck with your shot! ouch!

karol and cysta- how are you ladies doing?

to everyone!

Hi all!!!

Maija - Welcome!! This is a great thread w/lots of supportive girls. I just did my first round of clomid this month and the trigger shot. I've never been on met...I keep meaning to ask my RE if I should be, but i get so nervous when I'm there that I forget all my questions!

ASMay - I've never minded the thought of multiples...but when I think multiples, I think 2!! I don't know if my body would expand enough for more than that!!

Lucy - Good luck with the u/s today! Let us know how it goes.

amf - Thanks for the compliment about my daughter...I think she's pretty darn cute, but of course I'm a little partial! hee, hee. I had my husband do my trigger shot last night. I had NO idea that I was supposed to do it instead of the docs! I told him that the docs said to use a darting type motion so that it goes in fast and painless. I think he rather enjoyed doing it!!! I'm tellin' you....he raised that thing up like he was going to stab someone with a knife!!

Hello to everyone else and I'm thinking about all of ya. Wishing you all lots of O dust and baby dust!!! Moochies!

Yeah, that would look confusing, especially since i am here on the TTC board. DH and i weren't trying to get pregnant this month. I just got off bcp and was going to try and have two cycles before ttc. but i wanted to go ahead and start posting on these boards so that i would have a good support base before then. you girls are great! and it has been good for me to hear all the stories and such! i do not use opk's. however, i think i understand the temp thing enough. i do know i o'd because i had such a good jump in temp on cd20. so anyway, you would wait a whole 4-6 days... oh my goodness.. i don't know if i can go that long (i have the first response early test. supposed to detect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before your missed period... but i don't know when to expect my period...). but if i poas now, and get a bfn, i will not test again until probably 20dpo if af hasn't come... (don't want to use up all my test for this month... lol...)

The ultrasound was good. I definitely have many cysts that are not growing to the point of ovulation, etc.

The bloodwork was rough. I was not prepared for how much they took and I almost had to lie down because I became faint and nauseous. Now I have to go back to the RE on Thursday for the glucose test. Then back again to discuss the results, start provera, get bloodwork again on day 3 of bleeding and then start the clomid. Wow!

Hey ladies...just wanted to drop in real quick. My grandma passed away today so looks like I'll be heading to Georgia. I'm very upset about losing my last living grandparent and it's the first death in my family since I was in 3rd or 4th grade! But at the same time I keep thinking about how I did the trigger shot last night so we should bd tomorrow morning and we're going to miss that so important window of opportunity!!! I don't know what to do! Whether I should wait until tomorrow morning, after we get down to business to pack up and leave or just leave tonight and risk this month being a bust!?AAAGGGHHHH!!

Anyways, I'll try to come back and do some personals later. I've got to start getting my stuff together.

Hope all of you are having a better day than me.....and even though I've got all of this stuff on my mind right now, I'm still thinking of you all and praying for our dreams to come true!!

Lucy - I hear ya about the lots of blood taking. At least you're getting the ball rolling in the right direction. Good luck with all that if I don't talk to ya again for a while!!

Hi curlysue, you will be in my prayers during your loss and for safe travels. My advice to you is to do what your heart is telling you. If I were to ask you the question real quick and fast, what would your answer be?
