Hello,
I too am a thin cyster i'm 5'2 and 118 pounds although i hope to be 110 before xmas!!
I was diagnosed 3 years ago, and in the last 10 months my abdo pain has got so bad that i am on heavy duty pain killers. Recently had lap to see if there was any damage left from undiagnosed chlamydia luckily there isn't but no one seemed to want to help me with my pain. How can you leave a 24 year old in constant pain?? Also has anyone heard of the term pelvic congestion? the dr mentioned this but gave me the worst feedback eva!! My mum mentioned something to me that i had never considered maybe i get more pain beacause of my slight build? My ovaries are massive and maybe i just don't have enough room for them. Does this seem plausable to anyone??
Also to anyone who has seen a dr who claims you can't be thin and have pcos please find another one!!!!

Hi, I have pain but probably no where close to what you have experienced. I would definately schedule another appointment with a DIFFERENT doctor if at all possible. Also, make sure you write down any questions you have and make sure you get them answered until your satisfied. You can also ask if they can provide you with literature on it.
Sorry, this probably doesn't help much, but I wanted to make sure you knew someone cared! Hopefully you can find a Doctor who will explain what you should expect.

only time i have had this kind of pain is wheh they overstimulated my ovaries with clomid, had a cyst the size of a grape fruit and/or am constipated (which seem like allthe time from the metformin)

Dramaqueen, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have much pain as well, and I don't know why. I just got a lap. on the 12th, and I don't go back to the doctor until tomorrow, but they certainly weren't concerned enough to give me something that would span the gap for two weeks, so I have the same pain, same as always. I will seriously freak out if not offered something to amke me feel better tomorrow. My particular pain will cause me at times to just double over. I have to stop whatever I'm doing (which looks just excellent at work) and just curl up in a ball. I know this doesn't really provide any answers, but I wanted to let you know that you are not by yourself on this.
